Christadelphian Homes Limited (CHL) entered into sale agreements for three of our Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) in NSW: Southhaven (Padstow Heights), Casa Mia (Padstow), and Chamberlain Gardens (Wyoming). The sales also include adjoining properties owned by CHL.
The sale of the properties at Casa Mia and Chamberlain Gardens was concluded in January 2022. More recently sale included the properties and operation at Southhaven, as well as the operations at Chamberlain Gardens (previously only the property was sold), and the operations at Casa Mia (previously the property was sold, and was to be closed, however a revised agreement will see Casa Mia continue operating as an aged care facility, managed by Infinite Care).
Infinite Care has acquired the operating business for Southhaven, Casa Mia and Chamberlain Gardens from CHL. Infinite Care currently operates 11 residential aged care facilities across Queensland and South Australia. Infinite Care’s management team are passionate about aged care and have significant experience in the sector.
The CHL Board came to the difficult decision to sell the properties after a strategic review of all our aged care facilities and retirement villages. The review determined the current industry environment made it challenging for the organisation to continue to operate the number of sites we currently held.
The sale strengthens CHL’s ability to sustainably deliver quality care to residents in our remaining Homes and Villages, allows us to continue to update and improve our facilities, and better reflect our Mission and Values across our communities.
