At Christadelphian Aged Care, I have the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated and compassionate professionals in the industry. Among them are our Directors of Consumer Care and Services (DCCS), who lead each of our four aged care homes with warmth and professionalism. I want to celebrate the incredible work they do and the vital role they play in ensuring our residents and their families feel cared for and supported.
Our residents and their families meet the DCCS soon after arrival, and regularly see their friendly face around the Home. They are at the heart of everything we do. They ensure that our residents receive the best care in a warm, welcoming environment, while keeping everything behind the scenes running smoothly.
They work closely with myself, the Executive and their teams to make sure every resident feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. By ensuring that resources are well used and care standards are met, they help create a place where residents can truly feel at home.
Managing with Care
While they handle important tasks like budgets and occupancy, each DCCS always keeps residents’ needs front and centre. They make sure the financial side of things supports the high-quality care our residents deserve, so families can feel confident their loved ones are in good hands.
They are committed to building strong, caring teams, and make sure staff are well-trained, supported, and happy in their roles so they can focus on providing the best care possible.
Making Connections
Family is a big part of life at Christadelphian Aged Care, and every DCCS works hard to build strong relationships with residents’ families. They’re always available to listen, answer questions, and ensure that everyone feels involved and supported.
They foster a positive, friendly atmosphere that makes both residents and staff feel valued and appreciated. Their leadership helps make our Homes more than just places to live – they become true communities.
