Doll therapy a chance to nurture

Christadelphian Aged Care Homes and Villages

The desire to nurture doesn’t fade as people grow older, and in fact often becomes stronger.

Christadelphian Aged Care’s Illawarra Home has started a Doll Therapy program to allow residents to tap into their nurturing nature and relive some memories from the past.

Ridgeview Aged Care’s new volunteer Corinne is assisting with the program that has been warmly welcomed by both staff and residents.

“The aim of this program is to provide opportunity for nuture,” Volunteer and Pastoral Care Coordinator Michelle Bonner said.

“It is proving to be a lovely and engaging activity for all of us.”
